Parna Landscapes
Soil to Soul
Every landscape should feel as though nature always intended it to exist.
We design the way a property is lived in, not just the way it is planted.
A garden is the part of a home people use without being asked to. It is where mornings begin, where guests are received, and where a house finally settles into its site.
Parna Landscapes works at the point where architecture stops and ground begins. We think in levels, sightlines, shade, and sequence — how you arrive, what is revealed first, where the eye rests, and how a space feels at seven in the morning versus eight at night.
Our work spans private villas, farm estates, terraces, and courtyards across Bengaluru and further into South India. Each site is read on its own terms: its soil, its slope, its existing trees, its prevailing wind. What follows is a considered proposal rather than a catalogue of features.
We hold execution to the same standard as design, because intent that is not built precisely is intent that is lost. And we design for maturity — for how a landscape will read in ten years, not on the day of handover.
Outdoor living
Spaces built for daily use, not display.
Architectural thinking
Landscape resolved with the building, not after it.
Sustainability
Right plant, right place, sensible water.
Craftsmanship
Edges, levels, and detail held to standard.
Services
From first site reading through to the annual care that keeps a landscape true to its design.
Eight things we refuse to compromise on.
Design-first philosophy
Every project starts as a drawing, not a plant list. Nothing is bought before it is resolved.
Architectural thinking
We work in levels, proportion, and sightlines — reading the building before reading the ground.
Attention to detail
Coping profiles, paving joints, kerb lines, fixture concealment. The details decide the result.
Premium materials
Stone, timber, and metal selected for how they weather, not for how they photograph new.
Professional execution
Our own supervision on site, sequencing controlled, and design intent protected through delivery.
Sustainable landscapes
Hydrozoned irrigation, soil built properly, and species chosen to suit the site rather than fight it.
Tailored plant palettes
Composed for your light, soil, exposure, and maintenance appetite — never a repeated template.
End-to-end management
One point of accountability from first consultation through to the maintenance calendar.
The design process
Eight stages, in order. Each one closes before the next begins.
Consultation
We listen first — how you intend to use the space, what you dislike, and what the budget realistically allows.
Site visit & analysis
Levels, drainage, soil, sun path, wind, existing trees, and views worth keeping or screening.
Concept design
Spatial organisation and character established — zoning, circulation, and the ideas worth committing to.
Detailed design
Working drawings: levels, hardscape setting-out, planting plans, lighting layout, and services coordination.
Material selection
Stone, timber, metal, and fixtures chosen and sampled before anything is ordered.
Execution
Earthwork, drainage, hardscape, soil preparation, planting, irrigation, and lighting, under supervision.
Final styling
Specimen placement, mulching, edge finishing, and lighting focus set after dark.
Maintenance
A defined annual calendar so the landscape matures the way it was drawn.
We don't merely create gardens. We compose outdoor experiences that age beautifully with time.Parna Landscapes — Design Philosophy
Rooted in Bengaluru.
Working consistently in one climate means we know its soil profiles, water table behaviour, wind exposure, and which species genuinely thrive here — knowledge that cannot be transferred from a catalogue.
Beyond the city we take on projects across South India — Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. If your site sits further out, it is still worth a conversation.
Journal
Notes on landscape design, planting, and building outdoor spaces that last in Bengaluru's climate.
